Ruszył proces w sprawie śmierci strażnika schroniska Ryszard B, który zginął na służbie w lipcu 2012 roku podczas ucieczki czwórki podopiecznych schroniska dla nieletnich w Chojnicach.
Uciekinierzy z poprawczaka zabili strażnika. Rodzina chce 400 tys. odszkodowania. 61-latni strażnik zginął, bo nadzór nad wychowankami w schronisku był niewłaściwy – uważa pełnomocnik rodziny mecenas Dominik Dąbrowski. Z kolei radca reprezentującej Skarb Państwa Prokuratorii Generalnej Łukasz Płoskowicki uważa, że Ryszard B. przyczynił się do tragedii, bo sam nie przestrzegał procedur bezpieczeństwa. Czwórka nastolatków, która uciekła ze schroniska w Chojnicach, została skazana na kary od 5 do 15 lat więzienia już w 2013 roku.
