Ksiądz Jan Kaczkowski Osobowością Medyczną Roku
Ksiądz Jan Kaczkowski laureatem konkursu Sukces Roku 2015 w Ochronie Zdrowia. Szef puckiego hospicjum został nagrodzony w kategorii Osobowość Medyczna Roku.
Wieloletnie zaangażowanie w prowadzenie hospicjum im. św. Ojca Pio w Pucku, propagowanie etyki medycznej, działania na rzecz pacjentów i ich praw oraz edukacja młodych pokoleń lekarzy, to działania które doceniła kapituła nagrody. Duchowny do wyróżnienia nie czuje się uprawniony, bo jak mówi – są ludzie którzy zrobili o wiele więcej.
Ksiądz Kaczkowski jest powszechnie szanowanym na Pomorzu społecznikiem i autorytetem moralnym. Sam siebie nazywa “onkocelebrytą” – zdiagnozowano u niego raka nerki oraz glejaka mózgu.
– Guz mózgu to doświadczenie, dzięki któremu wiem, jak rozmawiać z chorymi – mówi duchowny.
Nagrody z rąk ministra zdrowia odebrali także m.in. Irena Santor, Jerzy Karwowski i Piotr Kościelniak.
