2016 rokiem prof. Labudy. Inauguracja w Luzinie
Ten rok upłynie w Zrzeszeniu Kaszubsko-Pomorskim pod patronatem profesora Gerarda Labudy, nazywanego Kaszubą równym Długoszowi. Inauguracja obchodów odbędzie się jutro w Wejherowie.
Profesor Labuda był wybitnym mediewistą. Pozostawił po sobie wiele fundamentalnych dzieł z dziedziny historii powszechnej, Polski i słowiańszczyzny zachodniej. Liczbę jego prac naukowych, szacuje się na 2 tysiące, z czego około 30 stanowią książki. Wiele swojej pracy poświęcił też Kaszubom. Jest między innymi autorem tomu Historii Kaszubów w dziejach Pomorza.
– W tym roku minie setna rocznica Jego urodzin – mówi prezes Zrzeszenia Kaszubsko – Pomorskiego, Łukasz Grzędzicki.
Inauguracja obchodów Roku profesora Gerarda Labudy rozpocznie się jutro o godzinie 10-ej w auli Zespołu Szkół Ponadgimnazjalnych nr 1 w Wejherowie. Dalszą część od godziny 13-ej zaplanowano w Muzeum Piśmiennictwa i Muzyki Kaszubsko – Pomorskiej. Odbędzie się tam konferencja naukowa pod hasłem „Profesor Gerard Labuda – dokonania, idee, inspiracje” i wernisaż wystawy poświęconej Profesorowi.
