Na całych Kaszubach swój renesans przeżywają KGW
Nie do przecenienia jest ich rola społeczna, czy nawet kulturotwórcza. W miniony weekend odbywały się powiatowe turnieje KGW. Radio Kaszëbë zajrzało do Żukowa i Żelistrzewa w gminie Puck.
W Żukowie panie rywalizowały ze sobą po raz XIII. Natomiast na terenie powiatu puckiego turniej odbywał się już po raz XX. Wzięło w nim udział 15 zespołów KGW z 15 miejscowości Ziemi Puckiej, które rywalizowały ze sobą w Domu Kultury w Żelistrzewie. Spotkanie prowadził go Brunon Ceszke, który wspominał pierwszy tego typu turniej w 1996 roku w Łebczu. Wówczas wystartowało w rywalizacji jedynie 5 kół. Dziś Koła Gospodyń Wiejskich z Ziemi Puckiej urosły w siłę. Świadczy o tym także to, że propozycję stanięcia na czele wojewódzkich struktur tej organizacji otrzymała Regina Kwidzińska z koła w Łebczu. W takcie żelistrzewskiego turnieju miało miejsce podpisanie listów intencyjnych o współpracy pomiędzy Gminą Puck i Gminą Strzelno w województwie kujawsko-pomorskim. (Foto: Zbigniew Heft)
