Nie będzie bezpośredniego połączenia kolejowego między Kościerzyną, a Gdańskiem. Mieszkańcy z tego rejonu aby skorzystać z Pomorskiej Kolei Metropolitalnej będą musieli nadal przesiadać się w Żukowie bądź Gdańsku Osowej.
