Spieszą się z remontem remizy Ochotniczej Straży Pożarnej
Prace budowlane przy nowej remizie OSP w Żukowie idą pełna parą. Budynek zostanie oddany do użytku wcześniej niż planowano. Za pół roku oficjalnie do użytku zostanie oddana nowa remiza OSP i Centrum Zarządzania Kryzysowego w Żukowie.
– Za pół roku wszystko się zmieni, mówi burmistrz Żukowa Wojciech Kankowski.
W tej chwili w obiekcie trwają prace wykończeniowe – szpachlowanie, malowanie i układanie płytek. Dotychczasowa siedziba OSP mieści się od ponad 30 lat przy ulicy Gdańskiej. Miejsca jest niewiele bo ochotnicy dzielą budynek z Urzędem Miasta. Pomieszczenia, które zwolnią strażacy zaadaptuje Urząd Miasta, powstanie między innymi miejsce do obsługi petenta, dodaje Kankowski. Koszt budowy nowej siedziby OSP wraz z Centrum Zarządzania Kryzysowego pochłonie 6 mln zł. Obiekt powinien zostać oddany do użytku w pierwszym kwartale przyszłego roku.
