Chcą wypracować kompromis dla wykorzystania lasów
Wypracowania kompromisowego wykorzystania lasów w Trójmieście – do wycinki i turystyki – dotyczy porozumienie zawarte przez samorząd województwa z leśnikami.
– Potrzeba nam najpierw diagnozy, by pogodzić gospodarcze podejście do lasów z potrzebą rozwoju na ich terenie aktywnej rekreacji – mówi pomorski marszałek Mieczysław Struk.
Pod dokumentem w obecności ministra środowiska podpisy złożyli: marszałek województwa i dyrektor Regionalnej Dyrekcji Lasów Państwowych w Gdańsku. Porozumienie dotyczy wypracowania dobrych praktyk w zakresie gospodarki leśnej. – To najlepszy przykład tego, że można działać wspólnie na rzecz godzenia różnych interesów – podkreślał minister środowiska Maciej Grabowski. Z kolei dyrektor Regionalnej Dyrekcji Lasów Państwowych w Gdańsku Jan Szramka ma nadzieję na większą edukację mieszkańców, by uświadomić im gospodarcze znaczenie trójmiejskich lasów. W ramach porozumienia ma także powstać portal informacyjny.
