Pomorskie gminy chcą chronić klimat i oszczędzać energię
18 pomorskich gmin chce chronić klimat i oszczędzać energię. Ich włodarze przystąpili do Porozumienia Burmistrzów – unijnej inicjatywy skupiającej już ponad 6 tysięcy samorządów z całej Europy. Ich głównym celem jest ograniczenie o 20 proc. emisji gazów cieplarnianych do 2020 roku.
– Województwo pomorskie stało się liderem w działaniach na rzecz unijnej polityki energetyczno-klimatycznej – mówi nam prezes Narodowego Fundusz Ochrony Środowiska Małgorzata Skucha.
Do Porozumienia przystąpiły między innymi kaszubskie gminy Krokowa, Tuchomie, Czarna Dąbrówka, Rumia, Puck i Brusy. Tym samym lista sygnatariuszy Porozumienia Burmistrzów zwiększyła się w Polsce do 60. Narodowy Fundusz dofinansował ponad 600 planów gospodarki niskoemisyjnej w Polsce, które umożliwiają gminom przystąpienie do Porozumienia Burmistrzów. Pomorskie samorządy podpisały porozumienie podczas tegorocznych Pomorskich Dni Energii.
