Ponad miliard złotych w ramach ZIT
Ponad miliard złotych już do dyspozycji trójmiejskiej metropolii – w ramach tzw. ZIT czyli Zintegrowanych Inwestycji Terytorialnych. Samorządy podpisały porozumienie w tej sprawie.
– Te pieniądze mają posłużyć rozwojowi całego regionu, nie tylko jego ścisłego centrum – podkreśla pomorski marszałek Mieczysław Struk.
Podpisy pod dokumentem złożył marszałek województwa pomorskiego i przedstawiciele „Stowarzyszenia Obszar Metropolitalny Gdańsk – Gdynia – Sopot”. ZIT ma zachęcać samorządy do integracji i zwiększyć ich zaangażowanie w zarządzanie środkami Unii Europejskiej. Pomorze i Trójmiasto w jego ramach ma wykorzystać 260 milionów euro, czyli prawie 14 proc. Regionalnego Programu Operacyjnego Województwa Pomorskiego na lata 2014-2020. Zaznacza, że wspólne projekty to przede wszystkim inwestycje związane z transportem. Inne możliwe obszary współpracy w ramach Zintegrowanych Inwestycji Terytorialnych to na przykład gospodarka odpadami, aktywizacja zawodowa osób bezrobotnych czy rozwój szkolnictwa zawodowego.
