Zachęcać do profilaktyki czerniaka złośliwego – będą na plażach Gdyni i Gdańska w czarnym namiocie rakoobrony.
To kampania informacyjno-edukacyjna, która drugi już raz będzie organizowana na trójmiejskich plażach. W ubiegłym roku przebadano około 400 osób, kilkadziesiąt zostało skierowanych na dalsze leczenie. Akcja polega bowiem m.in. na możliwości bezpłatnego przebadania niepokojących znamion na skórze oraz skorzystania z porady dermatologa. Rozdawane są także ulotki informacyjne i próbki z kremem UV, organizowane konkursy, uczestnicy sprawdzają także w ankietach swoją wiedzą o czerniaku. To jeden z najgroźniejszych nowotworów złośliwych, ale jego wykrycie daje możliwość wyleczenia nawet w 90 procentach przypadków.
Tour czarnego namiotu na Pomorzu rozpocznie się 10 sierpnia na gdańskiej Plaży Jelitkowo. Po trzech dniach Letnia Akcja Edukacyjna przeniesie się na Plażę Śródmieście w Gdyni.
