Samorządy dostosowują strony internetowe dla niepełnosprawnych
Pomorskie samorządy spieszą się z dostosowaniem swoich stron internetowych do potrzeb osób niepełnosprawnych. Termin na to minął w maju tego roku. Prace w 11 gminach na Pomorzu nabiorą tempa dzięki uzyskanemu właśnie dofinansowaniu z Ministerstwa Administracji i Cyfryzacji.
Obowiązek dostosowania serwisów internetowych do międzynarodowych standardów wprowadzono rozporządzeniem z 2012 roku. Dostępność ma dotyczyć zarówno budowy technicznej jak i treści. Ma też pozwalać na wygodne i zrozumiałe korzystanie ze stron www dla osób narażonych na wykluczenie cyfrowe. Do tej grupy należą osoby niewidome i niesłyszące, osoby z niepełnosprawnością ruchową i intelektualną, a także seniorzy, obcokrajowcy oraz osoby z niskim wykształceniem. Ministerstwo Administracji i Cyfryzacji przyznało właśnie 126 dofinansowań na przebudowę stron internetowych. W tym gronie znalazło się 11 pomorskich gmin, w tym z Kaszub: miasto Puck, powiat chojnicki, Sopot, gmina Wicko, Karsin i Dziemiany.
Według danych Ministerstwa około 15 proc. społeczeństwa to osoby z niepełnosprawnością i przynajmniej część z nich jest bezpośrednio narażona na wykluczenie cyfrowe.
