Załoga śmigłowca Marynarki Wojennej uratowała amerykankę
66 letnią pasażerkę statku wycieczkowego Marina uratowała wczoraj załoga śmigłowca Brygady Lotnictwa Marynarki Wojennej.
Jednostka zmierzająca z Rostocku do Kłajpedy znajdowała się około 30 mil morskich na północ od Darłowa gdy u jednej z pasażerek wystąpiły objawy zawału serca. Na pomoc 66-latce ze Stanów Zjednoczonych ruszyła załoga śmigłowca dowodzonego przez kapitana Wojciecha Wójcika. Poszkodowaną przetransportowano na lotnisko w Darłowie, gdzie została przekazana obsadzie karetki pogotowia.
W tym roku była to już 13 akcja ratownicza na morzu z udziałem śmigłowca Brygady Lotnictwa Marynarki Wojennej. Od początku lat 90. lotnicy morscy uczestniczyli w 571. akcjach ratowniczych udzielając pomocy 301 osobom.
