Inwestycje na Miejskich Obszarach Funkcjonalnych
Ponad 76 mln zł dla Lęborka, prawie 57 mln dla Kościerzyny i 39 mln dla Bytowa – to już zagwarantowane środki unijne, które trafią do kaszubskich miast w ramach Miejskich Obszarów Funkcjonalnych. Dzisiaj podczas sesji sejmiku pomorskiego podpisano porozumienie w tej sprawie.
– Dzięki Miejskim Obszarom Funkcjonalnym tworzymy duże ośrodki subregionalne – mówi marszałek województwa Mieczysław Struk.
Miejskie Obszary Funkcjonalne to tereny zlokalizowane wokół większych miast o charakterze powiatowym, które wspólnie mogą ubiegać się o środki unijne. W naszym województwie działa ich osiem. Po ponad 2 latach negocjacji wypracowano listę przedsięwzięć, które zostaną zrealizowane. To łącznie 63 inwestycje o wartości ponad 1 miliarda złotych, w tym między innymi modernizacja infrastruktury przeznaczonej do odzysku i recyklingu odpadów w Bytowie, utworzenie oddziału diabetologii w Szpitalu Specjalistycznym w Chojnicach czy budowa węzła integracyjnego wraz z rewitalizacją dworca PKP w Kościerzynie. W Kościerzynie w ramach Miejskiego Obszaru Funkcjonalnego ma być zrealizowanych 5 dużych inwestycji, w tym budowa ścieżek rowerowych, uporządkowanie terenów zielonych wokół jezior Wierzysko i Kapliczne oraz zakup nowego sprzętu dla szpitala o wartości 10 mln złotych.
