W Sierakowicach odsłonięto pomnik ks. Sychty
W Sierakowicach oficjalnie odsłonięto pomnik kaszubskiego językoznawcy i pisarza ks. Bernarda Sychty. W uroczystościach wzięli udział Kaszubi z całego regionu.
Pochodzący z Puzdrowa w gminie Sierakowice ksiądz Sychta znany jest przede wszystkim jako autor 7-tomowego słownika gwar kaszubskich a także wielu dramatów jak „Hanka sã żeni”, „Dzéwczã i miedza” czy „Gwiôzdka ze Gduńska”. W marcu minęła 108 rocznica jego urodzin. Z tej okazji z inicjatywy miejscowych przedsiębiorców Andrzeja i Tadeusza Bigusów wybudowano pomnik, który ma upamiętniać tego Wielkiego Kaszubę a także przypominać o jego dokonaniach. Jak przyznaje Tadeusz Bigus, z księdzem Bernardem czuje się związany od zawsze, a miały na to wpływ głównie stosunki sąsiedzkie. Uroczystości trwały w Sierakowicach trzy dni. Odbyło się między innymi seminarium naukowe poświęcone postaci księdza Bernarda Sychty. A my zapytaliśmy mieszkańców o dokonania ich rodaka. Pomnik księdza Bernarda Sychty stanął w centrum Sierakowic, nieopodal kościoła św. Marcina. (Foto www.kaszubi.pl)
