Pomnik ks. Sychty zostanie odsłonięty w sobotę
Mały Zjazd Kaszubów szykuje się w najbliższy weekend w Sierakowicach. Od czwartku do soboty będą się tam odbywać uroczystości poświęcone księdzu Bernardowi Sychcie. Ich kulminacją będzie odsłonięcie pomnika tego zasłużonego dla kaszub działacza.
– Jego odsłonięcie będzie zwieńczeniem rozpoczętych w marcu obchodów 108. rocznicy urodzin działacza – mówi dyrektor sierakowickiego GOK Irena Kulwikowska.
Ks. Bernard Sychta urodził się w 1907 roku w Puzdrowie koło Sierakowic. Był etnografem, językoznawcą, dramatopisarzem, autorem fundamentalnego dzieła – 7-tomowego słownika gwar kaszubskich. Jego pomnik stanął w centrum Sierakowic, nieopodal kościoła św. Marcina. Na czwartek zaplanowano otwarcie wystawy akordeonów z kolekcji Pawła Nowaka i koncert zespołu Almost Jazz Group. W piątek w zabytkowym kościele wystawiony zostanie spektakl „Hanka so żeni” oraz uczta weselna w amfiteatrze Szerokowidze. Finał uroczystości odbędzie się w sobotę. O godzinie 10.00 rozpocznie się msza święta, po której nastąpi odsłonięcie i poświęcenie pomnika, a od godziny 18.00 w amfiteatrze koncerty – wystąpi m. in. Damroka Kwidzińska, a gwiazdą będzie zespół Bubliczki. Także w sobotę w Urzędzie Gminy odbędzie się II Seminarium Kaszubskie poświęcone pamięci księdza Bernarda Sychty – potrwa od 10:00 do 14:00, wstęp wolny. (Fot. Arkadiusz Ludwikowski)
