Będą obalać stereotypy na temat HIV – w szkołach średnich w Kartuzach i Żukowie rusza program „Muzycznie Pozytywni”.
– Muzycy opowiedzą o swoim życiu, chcemy zaprezentować zagrożenia jakie powodują największą liczbę zachorowań na te wirusy, czyli: zażywanie narkotyków, niebezpieczne kontakty seksualne – mówi koordynator projektu Karol Szabucki.
Ma on polegać na edukacji zachowań profilaktycznych oraz zwiększeniu wiedzy młodzieży i ich rodziców na temat wirusa HIV. W czterech szkołach odbędą się warsztaty, na których wykładowcami będą osoby na co dzień pracujące z osobami zarażonymi – żukowski lekarz Oktawiusz Dembek i muzycy zespołu Kasa Chorych. Według danych statystycznych w Polsce obecnie ok. 80 proc. nowych zakażeń odnotowuje się drogą ryzykownych zachowań seksualnych.Zakażonych wirusem HIV w województwie pomorskim w 2014 roku zostało 49 osób. Szacuje się, że w Polsce z HIV/AIDS żyje ok. 35 tysięcy osób.
