Jubileuszowa gala Dziennika Bałtyckiego w Teatrze Muzycznym
Donald Tusk Człowiekiem 70-lecia „Dziennika Bałtyckiego” – nagrodę odebrał podczas jubileuszowej gali gazety w Teatrze Muzycznym w Gdyni.
– Przetrwaliście przekształcenia rynku prasowego w 1990 roku dzięki temu, że byliście najlepsi i bezkonkurencyjni – mówił podczas jubileuszowej gali laureat nagrody „Człowiek 70-lecia Dziennika Bałtyckiego”.
Dziennik Bałtycki po raz pierwszy ukazał się 19 maja 1945 roku – były to cztery czarno-białe strony. Teraz to informacyjno – publicystyczna gazeta z aspiracjami ogólnopolskimi, ale o regionalnym charakterze. Donald Tusk, dzisiaj przewodniczący Rady Europejskiej, podkreślał że to w dzienniku 35 lat temu otrzymał swoje pierwsze honorarium, a publikujący na jego łamach dziennikarze-działacze mieli ogromne zasługi dla regionu. „Człowiekiem Roku 2014” został ksiądz Jan Kaczkowski – dyrektor puckiego hospicjum, nagrodę Top Menedżer „Dziennika Bałtyckiego 2014” przyznano Leszkowi Gierszewskiemu, prezesowi firmy Drutex.
