Rozbudowa połączenia kolejowego na trasie Gdynia Chylonia – Słupsk
Są już pierwsze warianty rozbudowy połączenia kolejowego nr 202 na trasie Gdynia Chylonia – Słupsk. Wejherowskim samorządowcom zaprezentowali je w siedzibie starostwa przedstawiciele PKP PLK.
– Dla miasta oznacza to mniej korków – mówi wejherowski starosta, Gabriela Lisius.
Celem spotkania było przedstawienie studium wykonalności odcinka przebiegającego przez powiat wejherowski. Rozbudowa linii 202 ma zwiększyć jej przepustowość i pozwolić na szybszą jazdę pociągów – nawet do 160 km na godzinę. Projekt zakłada m. in. likwidację tzw. „wąskich gardeł”, przebudowę peronów oraz dobudowę przynajmniej jednego toru, choć może być ich więcej. – Na razie rozważamy różne warianty – mówi Jerzy Majder z PKP PLK. Więcej ma być też przystanków: dwa dodatkowe pomiędzy Rumią Janowo, a Redą Pieleszewo, jeden w Bolszewie i jeden w Gościcinie. Zadanie realizowane będzie w ramach kontraktów terytorialnych, a finansować je będzie PKP PLK. Studium ma powstać do końca bieżącego roku,cała inwestycja – do 2020 roku.
