40 tysięcy żonkili rozdano w ramach akcji Pola Nadziei
40 tysięcy żonkili rozdano na ulicach pomorskich miast w ramach finału akcji Pola Nadziei. Kwiaty były podziękowaniem za datki na rzecz hospicjów w Pucku, Kartuzach, Gdańsku, Gdyni i Sopocie.
W akcję włączyło się łącznie około 3 tysięcy wolontariuszy. Oprócz uczniów byli to też księża, politycy i samorządowcy. W Kartuzach z tej okazji zorganizowano mecz, w którym w rzutach karnych 6 do 3 wygrała z księżmi drużyna kartuskich samorządowców. W ramach festynu przy Zespole Szkół Ogólnokształcących nr 2 były też pokazy rycerskie, przejazd motocyklistów oraz atrakcje dla dzieci. Parafia pw. św. Wojciecha w Kartuzach, która organizowała wczorajszy festyn, zamierza wybudować stacjonarne hospicjum. Budynek stanie przy ul. Leśnej. List intencyjny w tej sprawie podpisano w ubiegłym roku. Hospicjum przeznaczone ma być dla trzydziestu chorych.
