Będą dyskutować o projekcie rewitalizacji linii kolejowej
Dzisiaj na temat planowanej rewitalizacji linii kolejowej z Bytowa do Kościerzyny wypowiedzą się mieszkańcy Bytowa. Do końca sierpnia ma być już gotowa dokumentacja projektowa wraz z pozwoleniem na budowę inwestycji wartej 65 mln złotych.
– Dzisiaj chcemy poznać uwagi mieszkańców co do tego projektu – mówi burmistrz Bytowa Ryszard Sylka.
Modernizacja ma objąć kluczowy dla tej trasy 20-kilometrowy odcinek linii z Bytowa do Lipusza. Ze względu na fatalny stan torów ruch pociągów pasażerskich wstrzymano tam już 20 lat temu, a pociągi towarowe mogą się poruszać tą trasą jedynie z prędkością 30 km/h. Inwestycja zakłada rewitalizację torów oraz sześciu przystanków dla pasażerów. Jak szacują władze Bytowa – realny termin uruchomienia pasażerskich przewozów do Trójmiasta to rok 2020. Według symulacji na początku z połączeń korzystałoby około 200 osób dziennie. W ciągu kilku lat liczba pasażerów miałaby osiągnąć pół tysiąca w obie strony.
