Akcje sprzątania i happeningi z okazji Dnia Ziemi
Dzisiaj obchodzimy największe ekologiczne święto świata czyli Dzień Ziemi, świętowany w 192 krajach. Na Kaszubach z tej okazji odbędą się akcje sprzątania, happeningi szkolne i festyny.
– W tym roku na całym świecie podczas Dnia Ziemi kładziemy nacisk na odnawialne źródła energii – mówi Teresa Preis z Ligi Ochrony Przyrody.
Święto ma przyczynić się do promowania postaw proekologicznych, a także segregacji śmieci i odnawialnych źródeł energii. Dzisiaj między innymi w szkole w Łebnie w gminie Szemud uczniowie zorganizują kiermasz, na którym będą prezentowali przygotowaną przez siebie biżuterię, meble oraz zabawki zrobione z odzyskiwanych śmieci. Ogólnomiejskie obchody Dnia Ziemi odbędą się też w piątek w Bytowie i Kościerzynie. W ramach akcji jak co roku zorganizowana będzie zbiórka elektrośmieci oraz makulatury.
Dzisiaj z inicjatywy fundacji Nasza Ziemia zostanie uruchomiona specjalna aplikacja mobilna „rEKOnesans”, dzięki której będzie można zaznaczyć miejsca, w których znajdują się dzikie wysypiska, śmieci na poboczach dróg a także miejsca, gdzie brakuje pojemników do segregacji odpadów. Aplikacja jest elementem 22. edycji kampanii „Sprzątanie Świata – Polska 2015”.
