Najczęściej kradzione auta to Volkswageny i Audi
Volkswageny i Audi wciąż najczęściej kradzionymi samochodami na Kaszubach. Policja radzi aby zachować czujność. W ostatnim tygodniu w powiecie kartuskim zginęło kilka pojazdów.
– W ciągu ostatnich kilku dni doszło do kradzieży w Egiertowie, Kamienicy Szlacheckiej i Chmielnie mówi Jarosława Krefta rzecznik kartuskiej policji.
Najczęstszym sposobem kradzieży jest łamanie elektrycznych zabezpieczeń i kradzież kluczyków. Do takiego procederu zazwyczaj dochodzi na niestrzeżonych parkingach i osiedlach. Niestety 80 – 90% pojazdów natychmiast jest rozbierana na części. Reszta przeznaczona jest do tak zwanej „legalizacji” i dalej jeździ po drogach.
Według policyjnych statystyk kradzież aut w Polsce w ostatnich 10 latach spadła czterokrotnie. W 2004 roku zginęło 51 tysięcy samochodów, w 2014 kradzieży było nieco ponad 14 tysięcy.
