O włos od tragedii na trójmiejskiej obwodnicy
Brakowało kilku metrów do tragedii na Trójmiejskiej Obwodnicy. Śpiący kierowca samochodu ciężarowego uderzył w barierki energochłonne – tuż przed ekipą remontową.
– Nie ma wątpliwości, że uratował życie kilku osobom – mówi rzecznik gdyńskiej policji, Michał Rusak.
Do zdarzenia doszło wczoraj, około godziny 21:00. Na wysokości Kacka TIR jadący w stronę Gdańska uderzył w barierki energochłonne, zakleszczając się pomiędzy nimi. Najprawdopodobniej kierowca zasnął za kierownicą. Wypadek mógł mieć bardzo poważne konsekwencje, bo ciężarówka zatrzymała się kilka metrów przed ekipą remontującą lewy pas drogi. Na szczęście w sytuacji zorientował się pan Łukasz prowadzący drugi samochód ciężarowy, który trąbieniem zaalarmował robotników i obudził śpiącego kierowcę. Wypadek na dwie godziny zablokował Obwodnicę. Sprawcy zabrano prawo jazdy, może również zostać ukarany grzywną za spowodowanie zagrożenia na drodze. Natomiast za swoją postawę i zachowanie zimnej krwi pan Łukasz odbierze jutro oficjalne podziękowania od policji i władz Gdyni.
