Chcą zaoszczędzić 10 mln złotych w ciągu 3 najbliższych lat – rada powiatu kościerskiego przyjęła plan naprawy finansów. Zadłużenie samorządu obecnie sięga już prawie 40 mln złotych.
Powiat z problemami finansowymi boryka się już od wielu lat. Podobny program naprawczy stworzono w ubiegłym roku, choć nie zyskał on aprobaty radnych. Tegoroczny plan jest kontynuacją poprzedniego, choć wyeliminowano z niego oszczędności w oświacie. – Nie będzie łączenia klas czy zastępowania nauczycieli dyplomowanych stażystami – zapowiedziała starosta kościerska Alicja Żurawska. Oszczędności i nowe dochody mają pochodzić ze sprzedaży majątku, konsolidacji dotychczasowych kredytów oraz oszczędności w wydatkach osobowych i majątkowych. W ramach planu naprawczego w jednostkach podległych powiatowi ma dojść również do restrukturyzacji zatrudnienia. Pracę w tym roku ma stracić 7 osób.
