Zatrudnieni czasowo będą mieli dłuższy okres wypowiedzenia – zakłada projekt nowelizacji m.in. kodeksu pracy, opublikowany na stronie Ministerstwa Pracy i Polityki Społecznej. Jest też propozycja wprowadzenia maksymalnego okresu zatrudnienia terminowego. Projekt resortu pracy ma zmienić zasady zatrudnienia 3 i pół mln osób pracujących obecnie na czas określony – okresy wypowiedzenia takich umów mają być zrównane z tymi obowiązującymi stałe kontrakty. W zależności od stażu pracy będą wynosić od 2 tygodni do nawet 3 miesięcy. Propozycje resortu pracy zakładają także wprowadzenie maksymalnego okresu zatrudnienia terminowego. Ma on trwać 33 miesiące. W tym czasie firma będzie mogła zawrzeć z pracownikiem maksymalnie trzy umowy na czas określony. Po upływie 33 miesięcy, bądź od dnia zawarcia czwartej umowy, pracownik byłby traktowany jak zatrudniony na podstawie umowy na czas nieokreślony.
