Nowe przedszkole i żłobek w Chmielnie oficjalnie otwarte. Gmina wybudowała obiekt za nieco ponad 2,3 mln zł przy wsparciu z Ministerstwa Pracy i Polityki Społecznej. Budynek zapewni miejsca dla 100 przedszkolaków i 20 maluchów w wieku od 20 tygodni do 3 lat. Dzięki dofinansowaniu korzystanie ze żłobka będzie całkowicie bezpłatne. Rodzice będą ponosić jedynie koszty wyżywienia swoich pociech. Wójt gminy Chmielno Zbigniew Roszkowski przyznaje, że to wielki sukces i pierwsze samorządowy żłobek w historii Chmielna. Żłobek rozpocznie funkcjonowanie 1 października.
