Przywrócą połączenia kolejowe na trasie Kartuzy-Sierakowice-Lębork?
Jest kolejny krok w kierunku przywrócenia połączeń kolejowych na trasie Kartuzy-Sierakowice -Lębork. Samorządy podpisały porozumienie o wykonaniu studium rewitalizacji. Dokument ma określić koszty inwestycji i jej ekonomiczne uzasadnienie. Porozumienie podpisali przedstawiciele powiatów kartuskiego, lęborskiego i wejherowskiego oraz włodarze gmin Lębork, Chmielno, Sierakowice, Linia i Łęczyce, a także Lotos Kolej i PKP PLK. Te podmioty wyłożą wspólnie 400 tysięcy złotych na przygotowanie studium rewitalizacji linii kolejowej z Kartuz przez Sierakowice do Lęborka. Według planów, odcinek ma zostać wyremontowany i zelektryfikowany, a pociągi mają pokonywać trasę z prędkością nawet do 100 km/h. Musimy sprawić, aby podróż pociągiem była korzystniejsza dla naszych mieszkańców niż jazda samochodem – mówi wicewójt Sierakowic Zbigniew Fularczyk. Przygotowanie studium rewitalizacji ma potrwać około roku. Dodam, że z samorządów, na których terenie znajduje się linia kolejowa, porozumienia nie podpisały jedynie Kartuzy.
