Żurawina ma stać się marką promującą Kaszuby
Żurawina ma stać się marką promującą Kaszuby i powiat kościerski. To pomysł stowarzyszenia „Kościerska Chata”, które w najbliższy weekend organizuje I Festiwal Kaszubskiej Żurawiny. Owoce – podobne do czerwonych jagód – rosną powszechnie w kaszubskich lasach, głównie na bagnach. Mają właściwości kulinarne – jako dodatek do wielu mięs oraz lecznicze i profilaktyczne. Żurawina pomaga w zwalczaniu dolegliwości pęcherza, anginy, schorzeń reumatycznych, przeziębień, przy problemach z żołądkiem, jelitami i trzustką. „Żurawina z Kaszub ucierana na surowo” w marcu tego roku została zarejestrowana w Ministerstwie Rolnictwa jako produkt regionalny. Ma stać się, kolejnym po truskawkach, produktem promującym Kaszuby. Jak to zrobić? O tym rozmawiać będą naukowcy i liderzy regionalni podczas konferencji naukowej pod tytułem „Lato czy zima. Najlepsza kaszubska żurawina” – mówi Halina Rogińska ze stowarzyszenia „Kościerska Chata”. Konferencja odbędzie się w najbliższy piątek w sali Lubomira Szopińskiego w Kościerzynie o godzinie 10. Dzień później – organizatorzy zapraszają na festyn żurawinowy w sali sportowej w Skorzewie.
