22 mln złotych na wsparcie edukacji najzdolniejszych uczniów
22 mln złotych na wsparcie edukacji najzdolniejszych uczniów z Pomorza chce w najbliższych 7 latach przeznaczyć Urząd Marszałkowski w Gdańsku. Dzisiaj w tej sprawie zostaną podpisane listy intencyjne ze starostami i rektorami pomorskich uczelni.
Projekt „Zdolni z Pomorza” jest kontynuacją realizowanego od 2007 roku programu „Pomorskie – dobry kurs na edukację”. Wzięło w nim udział ponad 1500 uczniów gimnazjów i szkół ponadgimnazjalnych, którzy korzystali z dodatkowych zajęć w zakresie matematyki, fizyki i informatyki. Obecny program ma być poszerzony o przedmioty przyrodnicze i humanistyczne. Uczestnicy będą mogli wziąć udział w dodatkowych zajęciach pozaszkolnych, obozach naukowych i spotkaniach akademickich. Oprócz tego nowością będą specjalne zajęcia przygotowujące do udziału w olimpiadach przedmiotowych, warsztaty naukowe oraz wizyty w innowacyjnych zakładach pracy i nowoczesnych laboratoriach. Dodatkowe wsparcie mają otrzymać również nauczyciele pracujący z tymi uczniami. Projekt „Zdolni z Pomorza” ma być realizowany w latach 2015-2022. Środki na jego realizację zabezpieczono w Regionalnym Programie Operacyjnym Województwa Pomorskiego.
