2 do 3 rozpraw sądowych w tygodniu ws. Amber Gold
Przed Sądem Okręgowym w Gdańsku rozpoczął się proces założycieli Amber Gold oskarżonych m.in. o oszustwo znacznej wartości i pranie brudnych pieniędzy.
Afera wybuchła w 2012-tym roku. Prokuratura ustaliła, że spółka Amber Gold była tzw. piramidą finansową, a Katarzyna i Marcin P. oszukali niemal 19 tysięcy osób, doprowadzając ich do niekorzystnego rozporządzenia mieniem w wysokości prawie 851 mln zł. Pierwsza rozprawa rozpoczęła się z dwugodzinnym opóźnieniem. Z powodu alarmu bombowego – jak się okazało fałszywego – budynek sądu trzeba było ewakuować. Oboje oskarżeni zostali doprowadzeni na salę rozpraw z aresztu. Marcin P. nie przyznał się do winy i odmówił składania wyjaśnień – nie zgodził się odpowiadać na żadne pytania, w tym także swojego obrońcy. Sąd odczytywał protokoły przesłuchań w prokuraturze. Kolejną rozprawę zaplanowano w czwartek, ma być na niej kontynuowane odczytywanie wyjaśnień Marcina P. ze śledztwa. Rozprawy w procesie w sprawie Amber Gold będą się odbywać średnio 2-3 razy w tygodniu.
