133 miliony złotych na tabor kolejowy w województwie pomorskim
133 miliony złotych na tabor kolejowy chce wydać samorząd województwa pomorskiego. Nowe pociągi mają wyjechać na tory jeszcze w tym roku. Mają być skierowane na linię Słupsk – Trójmiasto – Malbork – Elbląg.
Ich zakup wpisuje się również w plany elektryfikacji linii Pomorskiej Kolei Metropolitalnej, trasy do Kartuz oraz linii 201 z Kościerzyny przez Gdańsk Osowę do Gdyni. Dzięki temu dojazd z Trójmiasta na Kaszuby będzie szybszy i wygodniejszy – poinformowano na portalu samorządu pomorskie.eu. O wyborze producenta nowych pociągów zdecyduje postępowanie przetargowe. Wiadomo na razie że mają być wyposażone w klimatyzację oraz sieć wi-fi. Będą również rozwijać prędkość do 160 km/h. 85 procent z planowanej kwoty 133 mln zł pochodzić będzie z Regionalnego Programu Operacyjnego Województwa Pomorskiego na lata 2014-20.
