Ukraińskie święto w Bytowie – rusza Bytowska Watra
Będzie muzyka, tańce i chóralne śpiewy. W Bytowie rusza dzisiaj doroczne święto kultury ukraińskiej Watra.
– Na Watrze bawią się wspólnie Kaszubi, Polacy i Ukraińcy – mówi burmistrz miasta Ryszard Sylka.
Organizuje ją od 25 lat bytowski oddział Związku Mniejszości Ukraińskiej. Jej członkowie stanowią około 20 proc. mieszkańców miasta.
Motywem przewodnim tegorocznej edycji jest ludowe wesele. Organizatorzy zapewniają mnóstwo atrakcji: występy zespołów folklorystycznych i współczesnych oraz kiermasz i warsztaty rękodzieła ludowego. Impreza rozpocznie się dzisiaj o godzinie 18:00 na placu Kardynała Wyszyńskiego w Bytowie i potrwa do najbliższej niedzieli.
