Kaszëbskô Jednota przyjęta do European Free Alliance
Kaszëbskô Jednota przyjęta do European Free Alliance – organizacji reprezentującej narody bez państwa w Parlamencie Europejskim.
Od dziś Kaszëbskô Jednota jest członkiem obserwatorem European Free Alliance. Do przyjęcia Kaszubów do grona organizacji narodów bez państwa doszło podczas Zgromadzenia Ogólnego EFA w Aiacciu, stolicy Korsyki.
Przeszło stu delegatów, reprezentujących m. in. Katalończyków, Szkotów, Fryzów, Bretończyków, Sardyńczyków, Korsykan, Walijczyków, Macedończyków, czy Serbołużyczan nie miało wątpliwości, że reprezentacja Kaszubów powinna znaleźć się w gronie 42 członków EFA.
European Free Alliance jest reprezentowana w Parlamencie Europejskim przez 12-u parlamentarzystów. Partie należące do EFA współrządzą w takich regionach Europy, jak Katalonia, Szkocja, Korsyka, czy bliski nam Śląsk, gdzie Przedstawiciele Ruchu Autonomii Śląska współtworzą zarząd Województwa Śląskiego. Przypomnijmy, że stowarzyszenie Kaszëbskô Jednota – od dziś członek EFA – powstało w 2011 roku. Organizacja ta dąży do przyznania Kaszubom statusu mniejszości etnicznej w Polsce. KJ opowiada się też za decentralizacją władzy i silnymi samorządnymi regionami.
