Park w centrum Żukowa już otwarty dla zwiedzających. Przecięcia wstęgi dokonali Mieczysław Struk Marszałek Województwa Pomorskiego oraz Wojciech Kankowski Burmistrz Gminy Żukowo.
To część projektu rewitalizacyjnego. Przedsięwzięcie ma poprawić i uatrakcyjnić zagospodarowanie przestrzenne historycznego centrum Żukowa oraz stworzyć miejsce do rekreacji. Mieszkańcy gminy mogą już korzystać z drewnianego pomostu, nowo powstałych ścieżek, ławek, altan, stojaków rowerowych oraz tablic informacyjnych wokół oczyszczonego, pogłębionego i wzmocnionego stawu, mówi burmistrz Wojciech Kankowski. Wartość robót wyniosła ponad 1,8 mln zł, a to tylko część projektu rewitalizacyjnego wartego 12 mln zł.
