Pokonał 8 tysięcy kilometrów, zwiedził 21 krajów i wykąpał się w 4 morzach i to wszystko w 80 dni na rowerze. Tego dokonał zapalony podróżnik z Ostrzyc Tomasz Plicht. Wyruszył 14 lipca zabierając kaszubską flagę. Tomasz Plicht jest miłośnikiem autostopu, roweru i pieszych wypraw. Jest członkiem OSP Ostrzyce i założycielem koła HDK przy tej jednostce. Od 1 października jest studentem etnofilologii kaszubskiej, choć chce zostać zawodowym strażakiem i realizować swoje pasje. Na koncie ma już wyprawę po Polsce, gdzie przejechał kraj pokonując 3 tysiące kilometrów. Ostatnia wyprawa po Europie trwała 80 dni i zakończyła się w ubiegłym tygodniu mówi podróżnik. Podróżnik z Ostrzyc brał udział w dwóch pieszych pielgrzymkach do Częstochowy i wyprawach autostopowych m.in. do Rzymu, Mołdawii i Serbii. Na razie w planach kolejnej wyprawy nie ma, choć i to jak przyznał może się zmienić.
