Żołnierze na ulicach – to już X edycja D-Day Hel
Żołnierze na ulicach Helu, do tego pojazdy opancerzone, czołgi i inscenizacje bitew – to już dziesiąta edycja żywej lekcji historii. D-Day Hel potrwa do niedzieli.
Na Półwysep zjechali rekonstruktorzy z całej Polski – całe siły będą użyte do odtworzenia lądowania aliantów na plaży w Omaha, ale od niedzieli prezentują też mundury, uzbrojenie z II wojny światowej. Do tego prezentacje pojazdów militarnych i dioram, pokaz mody lat 40, parady, warsztaty tańca i koncerty oddają atmosferę tamtego okresu. Wielu turystów tak planuje wakacyjny wyjazd, by wziąć udział w tym wydarzeniu. Spotkaliśmy jednak w Helu także osoby, które zaszokował widok żołnierzy. Mówią turyści, którzy woleliby zobaczyć inscenizację wyłącznie z udziałem wojska polskiego i którym nie podobają się żołnierze w niemieckich mundurach. Bez nas alianci nie mieliby z kim walczyć – argumentują rekonstruktorzy, którzy w tej bitwie będą po przegranej stronie. Dziś w Helu inscenizacja „Czołgi na ulicach”, jutro „Kierunek Paryż”, w sobotę natomiast główna atrakcja czyli „Lądowanie na plaży w Omaha”. D-Day Hel zakończy w niedzielę prezentacja i wystawa pojazdów militarnych.
