Znamy program obchodów III Dni Piaśnickich
Pod znakiem biegania i rajdów rowerowych odbędą się obchody Dni Piaśnickich. Trzecia edycja uroczystości ku czci ofiar zbrodni hitlerowskiej odbędzie się za 2 tygodnie w gminie Wejherowo.
– Cel to uczczenie pamięci poległych i nagłośnienie tej wciąż mało znanej zbrodni – mówi Kierownik Referatu Oświaty i Spraw Społecznych Urzędu Gminy Krzysztof Sapieha.
Piaśnica nazywana jest przez Kaszubów „pomorskim Katyniem” i „Kaszubską Golgotą”. Na początku II wojny światowej hitlerowcy zamordowali tam około 12 tysięcy osób, w tym kwiat inteligencji pomorskiej. Oprócz głównych uroczystości patriotycznych przy pomniku ofiar, od 3 lat w gminie Wejherowo odbywają się Dni Piaśnickie.
W tym roku potrwają one 3 dni a wezmą w nich udział przede wszystkim uczniowie wszystkich samorządowych szkół podstawowych. W programie tegorocznych obchodów zaplanowano Gwiaździsty Rajd Piaśnicki, Biegi z cyklu “Grand Prix Kaszuby Biegają, Rowerowy Rajd Piaśnicki oraz finał Olimpiady wiedzy o Martyrologi. Jak mówi jeden z organizatorów, Henryk Miotk – sport to idealny sposób na rozpowszechnianie tradycji wśród młodzieży. Trzecie Dni Piaśnickie odbędą się w dniach od 10 do 13 kwietnia.
