Zmiany w gospodarce odpadami komunalnymi
Ma usprawnić obsługę mieszkańców i podnieść standardy ekologiczne. Gdyńskie władze przymierzają się do dużych zmian w gospodarce odpadami komunalnymi.
– Dziś odpady wielkogabarytowe można wystawić 3 razy w roku, docelowo – ma być to możliwe bezpłatnie na żądanie – mówił na dzisiejszej konferencji wiceprezydent miasta Gdyni, Michał Guć.
Wśród nich planuje się między innymi dwukrotnie częstszy odbiór odpadów segregowanych, jak metal, plastik i szkło, sfinansowanie koszów i worków na śmieci z miejskiego budżetu czy metalowych pojemników na popiół dla zabudowań z paleniskami. Największą nowość stanowić ma odbiór śmieci wielkogabarytowych, np. starych mebli. Bodźcem do modyfikacji dotychczasowego systemu zarządzania odpadami jest zbliżający się koniec kontraktu z obsługującą miasto firmą Sanipor. Decyzję w sprawie proponowanych zmian rada miasta podejmie na najbliższej sesji.
