Straż Miejska obserwuje kierowców jadących ulicą 12 Marca
Apeluje o rozsądek i zapowiada wzmożone kontrole – wejherowska Straż Miejska będzie miała oko na kierowców jadących ulicą 12 Marca. Powodem jest częste lekceważenie zmiany w organizacji ruchu.
– Kierowcy regularnie go ignorują i skręcają do sklepu w lewo, co stwarza wiele groźnych sytuacji – mówi Marek Glowienke z wejherowskiej Straży Miejskiej.
Wprowadzono ją na początku marca w związku z otwarciem nowej Biedronki. Dojazd do sklepu wyznaczono od ulic Sikorskiego i Myśliwskiej. Za przejazdem w kierunku centrum miasta na ulicy 12 Marca obowiązuje nakaz jazdy prosto. Strażnicy podkreślają, że nie chodzi tu tylko o drobne stłuczki – ze względu na bliskość torowiska możliwa jest nawet poważna katastrofa kolejowa. Dlatego kierowcy złapani na łamaniu przepisów będą bez wyjątku karani mandatami.
Apel strażników miejskich z Wejherowa dotyczy także pieszych – o przekraczanie torowiska w miejscach do tego wyznaczonych.
