Zawody triathlonowe IRONMAN rozpoczną się jutro w Gdyni
To będzie rywalizacja sportowa na najwyższym poziomie – w Gdyni rozpoczynają się jutro najbardziej prestiżowe zawody triathlonowe z serii IRONMAN.
– Gdy zaczynaliśmy, triathlon był w Polsce jeszcze mało popularny – mówił dziś w audycji Dzień Dobry Kaszuby dyrektor Gdyńskiego Centrum Sportu Marek Łucyk.
W Enea IRONMAN 70.3 Gdynia powered by Herbalife weźmie udział blisko 4 tysiące zawodników, w tym czołówka triathlonistów z Polski i świata. To duże wydarzenie – zarówno dla sportowców, ale także dla miasta i jego mieszkańców. W Gdyni jest organizowane cyklicznie. Z zawodami IRONMAN wiążą się dla kierowców utrudnienia w ruchu. Wynagradzają je atrakcje dla kibiców i niesamowita atmosfera tej imprezy. W piątek rozegrane zostaną zawody dla najmłodszych, czyli IRONKIDS, sobotę – rywalizacja sprinterska i sztafetowa. W niedzielę zaplanowano główny wyścig na dystansie 1900 m pływania, 90 km jazdy na rowerze i 21 km i 100 metrów biegu.
