Zatopiony port w Pucku – w trójwymiarowej rzeczywistości
Trzy lata potrwa wirtualna, trójwymiarowa rekonstrukcja najstarszego zabytku w Pucku – zatopionego średniowiecznego portu. Miasto zrealizuje inwestycję w ramach interdyscyplinarnego unijnego projektu Virtual Arch.
– W projekt zaangażowanych jest łącznie 10 partnerów, w tym wiodące europejskie uczelnie – mówi burmistrz Pucka, Hanna Pruchniewska.
Jego celem jest odkrywanie archeologicznych skarbów ukrytych pod ziemią lub pod wodą. Nad puckim portem miejski samorząd będzie pracował wspólnie z fachowcami z Uniwersytetu Mikołaja Kopernika w Toruniu. W ramach projektu w puckim porcie stanie hotspot Wi-Fi, który umożliwi prezentację podwodnego dziedzictwa za pomocą smartfonów i tabletów, a w budynku bosmanatu zainstalowane zostaną urządzenia do prezentacji zabytku w technologii 3D. Trójwymiarowa prezentacja zatopionego portu w Pucku gotowa będzie do końca czerwca 2020 roku. Koszt inwestycji to ponad 183 tysiące euro.
