Zakończyły się przenosiny księgozbioru biblioteki do Bolszewa
Spośród 30 tysięcy tytułów można wybierać w Bolszewie, w głównej siedzibie Biblioteki i Centrum Kultury gminy Wejherowo. Zakończyły się przenosiny księgozbioru z likwidowanej placówki przy samorządowym gimnazjum.
Biblioteka i Centrum Kultury powstało z połączenia dwóch gminnych instytucji, jego dyrektorem została Natasza Sobczak, poprzednio kierująca Gminnym Ośrodkiem Kultury. Zamiast dwóch bibliotek w Bolszewie jest teraz jedna placówka, na ulicę Reja przeniesiono księgozbiór z ulicy Leśnej. Na reorganizacji w Bolszewie skorzystali również czytelnicy z Gościcina i Nowego Dworu Wejherowskiego. Tamtejsze filie wzbogaciły się o pięć tysięcy woluminów. Biblioteka i Centrum Kultury gminy Wejherowo planuje także w tym roku zakup kilku tysięcy nowych tytułów. Pierwsze pozycje będą na półkach już pod koniec marca.
