Zakończyła się budowa Baltiq Plaza
W Gdyni zakończyła się budowa pierwszej od kilkudziesięciu lat nowej kamienicy przy ulicy Świętojańskiej. Powstał tam kompleks handlowo – usługowy Baltiq Plaza.
Wygląd budynku nawiązuje do idei gdyńskiego modernizmu. Budowla powstała w sąsiedztwie Gdyńskiej Szkoły Filmowej i kolejki szynowej na Kamienna Górę. Dwie bryły budynku połączono dwiema podziemnymi kondygnacjami, na pozostałych 6 pietrach znajdują się mieszkania oraz powierzchnie zaprojektowane z myślą o usługach i biznesie.
Publiczny plac pomiędzy północną i południową częścią budynku tworzy patio z ławkami i klombami. Wyeksponowano też na nowo Pomnik Harcerzy Gdyńskich, który na czas budowy był przeniesiony na ulicę Słowackiego.
