Zakończył się drugi etap budowy „Węzła Zryw” w Wejherowie
W Wejherowie oddano do użytku gotowe elementy „Węzła Zryw” na Śmiechowie – cztery miesiące przed planowanym terminem. Do pełni szczęścia brakuje jeszcze tuneli pod krajową szóstką i torami kolejowymi.
Rozpoczęta dwa lata temu budowa „Węzła Zryw” to największy projekt drogowy w skali miasta i największa inwestycja tej kadencji. Kosztowała prawie 28 mln zł i objęła ulicę Patoka wraz z trzema rondami, dwie łącznice do krajowej ”szóstki” i ulicę Jaśminową. Wybudowano łącznie około 3 km dróg asfaltowych i 5 km chodników, do tego ścieżki rowerowe, zbiornik retencyjny, kanalizacja deszczowa, zatoki autobusowe i 118 lamp – mówiła zastępca prezydenta Wejherowa Beata Rutkiewicz. To pierwszy krok by w Śmiechowie usprawnić przejazd przez miasto, zwłaszcza z północy na południe. W następnym etapie mają powstać tunele pod krajową szóstką i torami kolejowymi z połączeniem do ulicy Sikorskiego. Miasto w tym przedsięwzięciu wesprze spółka PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe, podpisano już porozumienie w tej sprawie. Ostateczny termin to rok 2023.
