Dobre imię dla syna – koniec sądowej batalii
600 tysięcy zł odszkodowania dla rodziny – wywalczyli po 7-letniej batalii sądowej rodzice zmarłego w wypadku Mariusza Formeli. W trakcie postępowania przed sądem w Gdańsku z ich syna zdjęto także odpowiedzialność za spowodowanie tragedii.
– Miałem świadomość, że to może potrwać latami, ale od początku byłem przekonany o niewinności syna – mówi ojciec Mariusza, Paweł Formela.
Do głośnego wypadku koło Kielc doszło w 2007 roku. Kierujący osobowym Fordem Mariusz Formela zderzył się z jadącym z naprzeciwka busem, w wyniku czego zginęło 5 osób, w tym obaj kierowcy. Pierwsze orzeczenie sądu w Kielcach winą za tragedię obarczyło Mariusza. Jednak rodzina poszkodowanego nie uwierzyła w tę wersję i postanowiła walczyć o ustalenie faktycznego przebiegu zdarzeń.
Rodzice zmarłego oddali sprawę do Grupy Doradczej Prawno-Medycznej, która w 2012 roku udowodniła przed gdańskim sądem że winę za wypadek ponosi kierowca busa. Finałem walki państwa Formelów było zakończone w tym roku postępowanie o odszkodowanie. Rodzina wywalczyła ponad 600 tysięcy złotych zadośćuczynienia. Jednak jak zapewnia dyrektor GDPM Tomasz Rosa – w tak tragicznych sprawach pieniądze mają dla rodzin poszkodowanych marginalne znaczenie. Narzeczona Mariusza Formeli w dniu wypadku była w ciąży. Osierocona córka nigdy nie pozna swojego ojca.
