Za sportowe osiągnięcia i promocję miasta – wsparcie otrzymał Gryf Wejherowo i Tytani
Za sportowe osiągnięcia i promocję Wejherowa – miejski samorząd wsparł kluby sportowe WKS Gryf i Tytani Wejherowo.
200 tys zł dla Gryfa Wejherowo ma pomóc piłkarskiej drużynie utrzymać się w drugiej lidze. Podobne wsparcie otrzymał również w poprzednich latach. To najstarszy klub sportowy na Kaszubach, założony w latach 20 ubiegłego wieku. Jego największym sukcesem jest ćwierćfinał Pucharu Polski w sezonie 2011/2012.
– Doskonale promuje miasto – podkreśla zastępca prezydenta Wejherowa Arkadiusz Kraszkiewicz.
W tym miesiącu wsparcie miejskiego samorządu otrzymał także Klub Sportowy Tytani – skromniejszą sumę bo 30. tys zł. KS Tytani Wejherowo działa ósmy rok, jest organizatorem Wejherowskiej Ligi Piłki Ręcznej Tytanów. Szkoli także najmłodszych, dla których stworzyli Wejherowską Ligę „Młodych Tytanów”.
