Za pasję i osiągnięcia – w Gdyni nagrodzono młodych sportowców
Za pasję i osiągnięcia – w Gdyni nagrodzono sześciu młodych sportowców. Nagrody Prezydenta Gdyni to wieloletnia tradycja, której zadaniem jest docenienie sukcesów oraz zmotywowanie do dalszej, ciężkiej pracy.
Wśród wyróżnionych jest żeglarka z Pucka Kinga Brzóska, o której mówiliśmy ostatnio we wrześniu gdy otrzymała nową łódź. Kinga podczas Ogólnopolskiej Olimpiady Młodzieży wywalczyła złoty medal w klasie Laser 4.7, teraz chce się ścigać w klasie Radial. Reprezentantka kadry narodowej juniorów trenuje w MKŻ Arka Gdynia. Jak mówi – do Gdyni ma sentyment bo tu pierwszy raz zeszła na wodę z tatą – podkreślał prezydent Gdyni Wojciech Szczurek. Oprócz Kingi nagrody odebrali jeszcze dwaj żeglarze: Igor Kuczys i Tymoteusz Bendyk, szachistka Liwia Jarocka oraz osiągający sukcesy w szybownictwie Artur Łończuk. Nagrody wyniosły od tysiąca do dwóch tysięcy złotych.
