Z myślą o rowerzystach w Rumi stanęły 4 całoroczne stacje naprawcze
W Rumi stanęły cztery całoroczne stacje naprawcze. Przede wszystkim mają z nich korzystać rowerzyści – gdy trzeba zająć się niedokręconą śrubką czy poluzowanym łańcuchem.
– Powietrze w oponach mogą też uzupełniać posiadacze wózków dziecięcych oraz inwalidzkich – wyjaśnia pomysłodawczyni, radna powiatu wejherowskiego Ewa Pasieczna.
Stacje ustawiono na ulicy Starowiejskiej w okolicach kolejowego dworca, Dębogórskiej przy hali MOSiR, u styku Częstochowskiej i Gdańskiej – koło ronda im. Pileckiego, a także w pobliżu sanktuarium na ulicy Dąbrowskiego. Każdy punkt jest monitorowany. Stacje zaprojektowano tak, by mogły służyć przez cały rok, będą cyklicznie konserwowane. Koszt zakupu i montażu każdej to około dwóch tys. zł. Utworzenie czterech punktów naprawy rowerów wsparli lokalni fundatorzy.
