XIII Dni Kultury Powiatu Wejherowskiego | 22.09- 01.10
22 września br. rozpoczynają się Dni Kultury Powiatu Wejherowskiego, które potrwają do 1 października br. Wydarzeniu towarzyszyć będą liczne imprezy kulturalne, koncerty, promocje książek oraz spotkania autorskie. Po raz pierwszy Dni Kultury zostały zorganizowane w 2005 r. Ich celem jest przybliżanie mieszkańcom historii, tradycji i dorobku artystycznego Ziemi Wejherowskiej oraz promowanie bogatej kultury kaszubskiej.
Przed nami XIII Dni Kultury Powiatu Wejherowskiego, podczas których odbędzie się wiele ciekawych wydarzeń, spotkań oraz koncertów. Tegoroczne obchody rozpoczną się 22 września. Tego dnia o godz. 18.00 odbędzie się Jubileusz 60-lecia debiutu Janiny Wieczerskiej i 90-lecia urodzin Zbigniewa Szymańskiego oraz ogłoszenie wyników i wręczenie nagród laureatom XVIII Ogólnopolskiego Konkursu Literackiego im. Jana Drzeżdżona. Po raz kolejny obchody wykroczą poza ramy powiatu, bowiem wydarzenie odbędzie się w Sali Mieszczańskiej Ratusza Staromiejskiego w Gdańsku.
– Jużpo raz trzynasty serdecznie zapraszam mieszkańców do uczestnictwa w Dniach Kultury Powiatu Wejherowskiego – mówi Starosta Wejherowski Gabriela Lisius. – Podczas tych dni chcemy przybliżać historię, tradycję i kulturę kaszubską oraz promować miejscowych artystów.
Dwa dni później, w niedzielę 24 września w kościołach na terenie powiatu wejherowskiego odbędą się koncerty pieśni maryjnych w wykonaniu chórów Ziemi Wejherowskiej.
W poniedziałek 25 września o godz. 18.00 będzie miała miejsce promocja tomiku poetyckiego „Myśli i kąty” Katarzyny Lejkowskiej i Anny Witzling z ilustracjami Lili Wysockiej, inaugurującego serię Młode Pióra Ziemi Wejherowskiej. Na wydarzenie organizatorzy zapraszają do Muzeum Piśmiennictwa i Muzyki Kaszubsko-Pomorskiej w Wejherowie.
Dzień później 26 września o godz. 10.00 w wejherowskim muzeum odbędzie się konferencja „Muzea kaszubskie – nasze wspólne dziedzictwo kulturowe”. Tego samego dnia zaś o godz. 17.00 Powiatowa Biblioteka Publiczna w Wejherowie zaprasza na promocję tomiku poezji Darii Węsierskiej „Sonety Kaszubskie”.
Dnia 27 września, czyli w środę o godz. 12.00 w auli Zespołu Szkół Ponadgimnazjalnych nr 1 w Wejherowie jubileusz 10-lecia obchodzić będzie Powiatowy Zespół Placówek Oświatowo-Wychowawczych w Wejherowie. Natomiast wieczorem o godz. 18.00 w Muzeum Piśmiennictwa i Muzyki Kaszubsko-Pomorskiej nastąpi promocja książek „Pro memoria Ryszard Stryjec” i „Pro memoria Stanisław Pestka” oraz ogłoszenie wyników I Ogólnopolskiego Konkursu Kompozytorskiego im. Renaty Gleinert na piosenkę (pieśń) w języku kaszubskim.
Ciekawie zapowiada się kolejny dzień. Bowiem w czwartek 28 września o godz. 11.00 w Powiatowej Bibliotece Publicznej będzie można wziąć udział w spotkaniu autorskim z Krzysztofem Sapiechą. Wydarzenie połączone będzie z promocją zbioru wierszy dla dzieci „Zebra, Kobra i inne zwierzaki”. Wieczorem, tego samego dnia o godz. 18.00 organizatorzy zapraszają do wejherowskiego muzeum na finisaż wystawy malarskiej Aleksandry Baliszewskiej-Walickiej pt. „Moje podwórka”.
W piątek 29 września o godz. 14.00 odbędzie się coroczna Gala Kultury Powiatu Wejherowskiego. W trakcie wydarzenia, które odbędzie się w auli Zespołu Szkół Ponadgimnazjalnych nr 1 w Wejherowie, uhonorowane zostaną osoby, które swoją działalnością przyczyniają się do upowszechniania kultury i ochrony dziedzictwa kulturowego regionu. Zaś o godz. 17.00 w powiatowej bibliotece będzie można wziąć udział w spotkaniu autorskim z Olgą Podolską-Schmandt i Piotrem Schmandt.
Wyjątkowo zapowiada się sobota 30 września, kiedy to o godz. 16.00 przed Muzeum Piśmiennictwa i Muzyki Kaszubsko-Pomorskiej odbędzie się koncert talentów. Na scenie wystąpią: Marek Pakieser Zuzanna Kotecka – finalistkaThe Voice of Poland, Oliwia Drawc oraz młodzież z PZPOW pod dyrekcją Joanny Klein–Szalkowskiej w repertuarze Vaya Con Dios.
Dziesięciodniowe Dni Kultury Powiatu Wejherowskiego zakończą się 1 października br. uroczystością ku pamięci pomordowanych w Piaśnicy.
