Wystawę twórczości Chełmowskiego – można oglądać w Warszawie
Wystawę twórczości Józefa Chełmowskiego – patrona tego roku na Kaszubach – od dzisiaj można oglądać w parlamencie w Warszawie. Wydarzenie ma być kolejną okazją do zbierania środków na rzecz odbudowy zniszczonego sierpniową nawałnicą skansenu artysty w Brusach – Jagliach.
Józef Chełmowski pozostawił po sobie rzeźby, obrazy i dzieła filozoficzne. Był jednym z najbardziej znanych artystów ludowych z Kaszub. Konserwacji i odnowienia wymagają jego dzieła pozostawione w prywatnym skansenie w Brusach-Jagliach. – Obiektu tego nie oszczędziła też sierpniowa nawałnica, więc będziemy prosić Warszawę o pomoc – mówi Stanisław Kobus, prezes bruskiego oddziału Zrzeszenia Kaszubsko-Pomorskiego. Wystawę prac Józefa Chełmowskiego od dzisiaj można oglądać w holu przed salą imienia Jacka Kuronia w Nowym Domu Poselskim Sejmu RP.
